Yolanda Reid
While her career spans the areas of publicity, media relations and television production, capturing still photography has always been a passion for Yolanda Reid Andrews. Growing up she always had a camera in her hand with the intent to acknowledge and document the places she would venture to and the people around her. Her love for photography manifested itself into a wedding and event photography business, where she is the owner and image architect of Yolanda Reid Photography for more than a decade. For Yolanda, wedding days are the best days, but every once in a while an opportunity to engage in pure portrait photography presents itself. Once she learned of the importance and the magnitude of the 1000 Heroes project, she unabashedly volunteered to become the project photographer. In addition to serving in that capacity Yolanda is also responsible for project outreach and coordination as well as media relations for the Suncoast Regional Emmy nominated and award-winning project.
